INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD 2013-2016
The British Council International Award support schools in embedding
international learning into the curriculum. Working towards it gives pupils and
teachers a new perspective on the world, and the skills to work in a global
economy.
Ysgol Y Castell has this year received it’s third full
award.
GREEN FLAG
Eco-schools is an international award and
Carmarthenshire County Council works in partnership with Keep Wales Tidy and the
National Botanic Garden of Wales to deliver it.
This year Ysgol y Castell
will achieve the prestigious platinum award for the third time. Our pupils join
other Platinum schools at the All Wales Eco committee meetings in Builth Wells.
The Criw Cymraeg are over the moon that all their hard work has paid off and they can display their award proudly in the school reception.
We will now be working towards the GOLD award.
