When children start at Ysgol Y Castell, parents are given this information pack.
This form provides some information about the school and contains all of the consents that we are required to get from parents.
If children require medication during school hours parents need to fill in a ‘Consent to administer mediciation form’ – click here This form is needed for asthma pumps and epi-pens as well as other medications. Please ensure that your childs medication is given to a member of staff to store safely.
If parents are planning on taking children out of school for a holiday, we would be grateful if you would fill in a ‘Holiday request form’ – click here. Once you have submitted this form to the school, you will then be given a reply from the headmistress stating whether or not the absence will be authorised by the school. This depends on your child’s attendance.
